Happy 2010

This year was a little more low key than last year. We were invited to a couple of parties, but with Brad's new work schedule we decided not to go. Brad changed jobs in November and he now works in Texas City. He has to be at work at 6:30 and it takes him an hour and 15 minutes to get there and two hours to get home. He leaves the house by 5 and gets up at 4. His used to stay up late every night. Now he is in bed before me. The boys were invited to go to Time Square Entertainment with some neighbors. That left Brad and I alone. I don't think we have been alone on New Years in 11 years. We went to eat at Los Cucos. Had a couple of margaritas and really enjoyed each others company. Brad went to sleep around 9. I stayed up waiting for the boys. They were supposed to get home at one, but at 11:50 they were knocking on the door. I was glad to see them. We got to bring in the new year together. 2009 wasn't a bad year, but it could have been better. We hope 2010 is a wonderful year! Happy New Year!
